With the growing number of nutritional aids that patients take, the urologic surgeon needs to have a better understanding of these non-FDA approved supplements to help guide the patient to better urologic health.
In addition, appropriate suspension if not termination of these supplements are needed to allow for better planning of upcoming urologic surgical procedures.
